Timely decisions leverage profitability

Texas Project. A discovery well on 2006, had an initial rate of 170 BOPD (with 0% watercut). The production history indicates an expansion drive mechanism, while the rate declined to circa 40 BOPD in just under 4 years. Neighboring wells had similar behavior. However after a stimulation job in mid-2010, the well began to produce excessive amounts of water which ultimately killed the well. Neighboring wells, 6 in total, which were not stimulated currently produce a steady 60 BOPD on average, all on sucker-rod pump. New petrophysical analysis of OH E-logs confirm favorable reservoir conditions in the perforated sand and identify two potential bypassed zones. ODS will diagnose the source of water, perform a water shut-off, perforate the bypassed zone and reperforate the initial reservoir. Expected initial oil rate is 80 BOPD.
